POWER TAPING WILL PROVIDE YOUR ATHLETES WITH AN EDGE OVER
THEIR OPPONENTS THROUGH ENHANCED PERFORMANCE.

ROCKTAPE’s half day workshop teaches kinesiology taping principles using an “open source” philosophy - we don’t believe there is only one correct way to tape. Participants will learn the principles that can then be applied to their own individual patients.
ROCKTAPE has also developed a new protocol for taping called “Power Taping”. This movement based taping technique embraces the concept of muscles acting together as a chain as opposed to in isolation.

The aims of applying ROCKTAPE to a specific muscle group are to:

  •  Modulate muscle activation
  •  Promote blood flow to the muscles
  •  Promote lymphatic drainage
  •  Assist in the removal of lactic acid
  • Improve kinesthetic awareness

These functions provide the athlete with additional endurance and
    promote recovery.

ROCKTAPE is also used to promote a faster recovery for athlete’s soft
tissue and joint injuries by providing support and stability, while
    increasing blood flow.

Course outline - emphasis towards lower limb for podiatry applications.
